We have just posted "official" results. The files we have posted are in PDF format. HTML files have not yet been printed. Class results are for the classes for which awards will be made, based upon 10-year age-classes. These are not the classes upon which this year's Flint Hills Cup rankings will be based.
We have done considerable error-checking to make sure we have everyone. We feel that these results have a very high degree of accuracy. However . . . we know that there will be corrections still to be made due to people entering their data incorrectly or illegibly, people using someone else's bib, people crossing the finish line who exited the chutes before their bib tabs could be harvested, etc. Those issues, though, are beyond the control of our timing operation. If you believe that you find an error in the results, please contact me at sportalaska@gci.net.
Thanks for your patience.
Official results are available in these formats: a single file with overall results for men and for women, men's overall results, women's overall results, a single file with class results for all men's and women's classes, a file with all men's classes, a file for all women's classes, and individual files for each men's class and individual files for each women's class. A single file with all finishers listed alphabetically is also available. Some of the all-encompassing files are very large, so if you have a dialup connection, I suggest downloading the smaller files. We also hope to generate and post the HTML equivalent of all these PDF files. These files will be much smaller and much better for downloading over a dialup connection than will be the PDF files.
If you do see any errors in the results, please send me an e-mail with the information so that we can make a correction.
Also, if you're inclined toward looking at statistics, you can see graphs of the finish density over the course of the race. In 2005, Finish Density peaked between 58:00 and 59:00 with 61 finishers during that 60 seconds. the minute between 56:00 and 57:00 had 59 finishers. The "late-race" peak came at 1:42:00-1:43:00 with 55 finishers. Click Here to go to the graphs.
